Hatip

Ask Hatip what you can't ask anyone else.

An AI that answers your religious questions with its sources — verse, hadith and catechism references, without judgement, at any hour.

App Store — coming soon

Everyone has religious questions, but finding somewhere to ask them is not easy. Going to a scholar in person creates hesitation; searching online returns answers that contradict each other. And the questions people wonder about most are often the ones they cannot ask face to face.

That is what Hatip is for. You ask by typing or with your voice, and you get the answer with the source it came from visible. Verses and hadiths are not written from the model's memory — they are pulled verbatim from a verified database. The name and version of the source sits under every answer.

Hatip is not a mufti and not a source of religious rulings. It says so under every answer. What it does is bring the sources in front of you and convey them clearly.

Without judgement, in private

You can ask what you cannot ask anyone else. Your questions are not shared, not profiled and not used for advertising.

With its source

Every answer carries a verse, hadith, catechism or fatwa reference. The name and version of the source is visible on screen.

Useful every day

Prayer times, qibla, dhikr counter, khatm and missed-prayer tracking — an app you open on the days you have nothing to ask.

What it does

Features

Sourced questions and answers

Ask by typing or with your voice. Answers are built from sources drawn from a knowledge base of 6,236 verses and their translations, 384 hadiths, 324 catechism passages and 996 Diyanet fatwa titles. Verse and hadith texts are never generated by the model; they come verbatim from the database.

According to your school

You pick one of the four Sunni schools. If a retrieved source belongs to a different school, the answer says so explicitly rather than blending them silently.

Prayer times and qibla

Daily times and qibla direction for your location. Your location is never sent to a server — the calculation happens entirely on your phone. Each time notification can be switched on or off individually.

Dhikr counter

Your count, your dhikr and your target. The screen stays on and the count is not lost.

Khatm tracking

Your page, juz and surah are tracked. You plan your khatm target day by day.

Missed prayer tracking

If you do not know how many prayers you have missed, a wizard works it out. Where a ruling is required, the decision is left to you — Hatip does the arithmetic, not the judgement.

Verse of the day and shareable cards

A verse every morning. Turn an answer or a verse you liked into a shareable card in one tap.

Ramadan

A suhoor and iftar focused view throughout Ramadan, with daily cards.

Frequently asked questions

Does Hatip issue fatwas?
No. Hatip is not a source of religious rulings and does not give personal judgements. It brings the sources in front of you and conveys them clearly. For a binding opinion you should consult the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
Where do the answers come from?
From a verified knowledge base built on a translation of the Quran, hadith collections, catechism texts and Diyanet fatwa titles. Under every answer you can see which source it came from, with the name and version.
Can the AI invent a verse?
Verse and hadith texts are never written by the model; they are retrieved verbatim from the database. When a verse that does not exist is requested, the app says so instead of inventing one.
Are my questions private?
Your questions are not shown to anyone, no user profile is built and they are not used for advertising. To produce an answer the question text is sent to the AI provider; the details are set out in the privacy policy.
Is my location stored?
No. Prayer time and qibla calculations happen entirely on your phone; your location is not sent to a server.
Do I have to create an account?
No. The app opens in guest mode. An account is only needed to sync your question history across devices and for a premium subscription.
Can I choose my school?
Yes, you can pick one of the four Sunni schools. If a retrieved source belongs to a different school, the answer states this explicitly.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete my account. If you have uninstalled the app, you can also request deletion from the account deletion page.
